Some of the greatest wildlife and habitat in the United
States can be found in and around Los Fresnos!
Tourists come from around the world to see the rare birds. To help residents and visitors learn about
the amazing environmental opportunities found in the area, Los Fresnos is
building a 20-acre nature park along the banks of Resaca Escondida. The park will feature trails, bird watching,
fishing, native vegetation, and picnic areas.
The city has received over one million dollars in grants from the U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to build
